June 18

Today in the morning as usual, we had English classes with Steven until 12:25. In the class we reviewed the phrasal verbs and how to use them in a sentence. After that we had lunch and then we left Netherhall at 2:15 to the financial center of London by taking the underground and there are the tallest buildings in all London. We saw buildings that in Ecuador don’t exist because they are so tall and they have strange shapes, at first I think that the buildings are for flats but then I realized that are for work offices. We visited almost all the buildings but we only saw them, we didn’t enter.

After we walked around the city we entered to “the monument” that is a big hollow pole with staircases in its inside, we climbed to it and on the top we appreciated the London bridge and almost all the buildings we saw, then we rose to the top of a mall where there is an incredible view, we saw the top of a church, some buildings and things like that.

Finally we started to walk to the nearest underground station, we passed through some bridges and from one of them we could see the Thames River and a lot of other bridges but at the end we got the underground station at London Bridge, we took an underground that took us directly to finchley road station that is the nearest underground station to Hetherhall House.

In netherhall, our residence when we arrive we went directly to have dinner because we arrived late, there we ate some pork with potatoes and mushrooms and for desert we ate chocolate cake. We went to rest for 30 minutes and all of us went to the lounge to have the “get together”.
